It’s almost as if your obedience triggers an alarm in the spirit realm and suddenly, everything that could go wrong, tries to. That’s exactly what happened to me.
As soon as I said “yes” to the call and prepared to walk in obedience, warfare showed up at my door; first through my body, then my surroundings and finally, through people close to me.
This week began with a deep desire to renounce everything; to let go of all possessions and start fresh, like a blank white canvas.
My shell broke… No more pretending, no more proving, no more striving.
I wanted to release everything I had accumulated over the years, material or not. It all felt like a burden I was finally ready to lay down. I no longer wanted to be the “strong single mother who has it all.” I just wanted to be me: soft, real and intentional. To live a simple life, rooted in Christ.
